  • J. Todd Mirolla

After graduating with honors from USC and USC Gould School of Law, Todd practiced mergers and acquisitions law, spending more than three decades assisting clients in forming, structuring, financing, and selling their businesses and intellectual property, both domestically and internationally.

Todd left the full-time practice of law in 2017 and started Prossimo Advisors. Todd sees Prossimo as a natural extension of his prior work planning business strategies for clients. At Prossimo, Todd oversees all aspects of the multi-family office, with a particular focus on helping clients initiate and implement strategic planning for their families and their assets, including their investment portfolios and multi-generational estate and trust planning. He is a seasoned strategist whose practical and result-oriented perspective is well-suited to address the needs of successful individuals and their families. Todd holds a Series 65 license.

Todd and his wife, Nanette, have two children, Katelyn and Evan, and three grandchildren, Grace, Jack and Colin. • Katelyn Hunter

Katelyn was born and raised in San Luis Obispo and couldn’t be happier to return home. A graduate with honors from UC Berkeley and UCLA School of Law, Katelyn spent almost 10 years with a boutique Los Angeles law firm defending broker-dealers and investment banks in securities disputes before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”). She also regularly advised financial institutions on matters relating to employment issues and industry compliance.

Katelyn’s past experience is put to good use as Prossimo Advisors’ Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, she oversees and completes regulatory filings, ensures all processes and procedures comply with industry standards, and maintains the firm’s books and records. As part of her responsibilities, Katelyn devotes substantial time to monitoring clients’ alternative investment portfolios, regularly conducting due diligence and presenting data to clients in customized formats. She holds a Series 65 license.

Katelyn and her husband, Scott, have two young children, Grace and Jack. She loves watching (almost) all sports, cooking, and exploring the Central Coast with her family.

After graduating from Cal Poly, Ann managed the nursery and floral divisions of Karleskint Crum, Inc. for several years before joining Coast National Bank. She later became an Assistant Vice President at Founders Community Bank, where she oversaw all domestic and foreign wire transactions, accounts payable, operations adjustments and fixed asset audits across the bank’s numerous branches.
